Nerezine is the first village you reach on the island of Lošinj, set at the foot of Mount Osoršćica on the island’s north-eastern coast. Once a fishing and seafaring village known for its traditional shipbuilding, it still retains a strong connection to the sea and its maritime heritage.
Today, Nerezine is a relaxed coastal village with a harbour, waterfront, restaurants and easy access to the trails of Mount Osoršćica. Its central location also makes it a perfect base for exploring the islands of Lošinj and neighbouring Cres.
Nerezine and Osor are connected by a coastal path, ideal for walking and cycling.
